Fundraiser of May 2013 Updates!!

As you know, we held the first of four fundraisers on Friday, May 10th. We appreciate, and thank everyone who came to visit us and talk with us.  We especially appreciate those who stood out in the rain on Friday to ask others to help us. Saturday was a much better day, brighter and warmer. Thank you Lord!

For those who have been following me (and I love and thank every single one of you!), you can see that the children are an addition. The Lord has sent us the most amazing woman I’ve ever met! She is the mother of (some of) the children featured: Annessa, Britnee and Connor. Jennifer is one of our new IT people. She breezed in following the interview and proceeded to  hook us up, installed programs we needed, figured out problems we were having. Amazing! Most important, she loves the Lord, too!  Always helpful when joining a Christian ministry. As for Judy, also a new face, she came in to get food and volunteered to stand at the fundraiser and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts!!

It’s now May 20th, and the fundraisers of the past two weekends have come and gone. I want to give a special shout- out to  Jennifer  Pennington and her children Annessa, Britnee, Connor and Kaitlyn as well as her cousin Dave and his children Kristin, Victoria and Austen. In addition to all these, I want to thank Irene, Teena, Melody,  Debra, and, of course, our regulars, Cindy and James Vanlandingham.
